Training
learning that translates understanding into application
If I define training in my own words, it is a learning experience where one enters with the curiosity to discover and leaves having translated understanding into application. The trainer's role is to design the conditions, facilitate the process, and hold the learning space for this transformation to happen.
In the context of corporate training, what particularly stimulates me is the challenge of contributing to individual wellbeing, effective collaboration and organizational performance simultaneously.

How My Trainings Work
Foundation
Personal capabilities underpin relational ones
Major themes in corporate training such as leadership, teamwork, and communication are, in fact, relational capabilities whose development depends on personal capabilities. For example, a person who struggles to maintain a positive outlook will find it difficult to motivate and lead others; similarly, a highly reactive person may struggle to apply conflict resolution techniques without developing their capacity for self-management.
I therefore bear in mind the prerequisite nature of personal capabilities and integrate them into training in relational capabilities when relevant.
Principles
Learning by doing
The trainings are highly interactive and are built on the principle of learning by doing. According to scientific research, adults develop personal and relational capabilities not through reading or listening, but through experimenting and sharing their experiences with others.
This way of learning also contributes to high participation, enjoyment, and lasting results. My role as a trainer is to adopt a facilitator style that enables this learning process to unfold.
Grounded in science
My work is grounded in science and evidence, with an analytical and no-nonsense approach to the subjects we explore. This is particularly valuable when working with intellectually demanding and analytical audiences, who tend to engage more readily when they understand the reasoning behind what they are being asked to practice.
Process
Customized for each client
Each training is customized for the client. The customization process consists of working closely with HR and relevant leaders, listening and exploring to understand the needs, goals, and context.
The learning experience is also designed to align with the company's culture, values, and vision.
